Remember if you would like more sounds/drum kits or the ability to import your own sounds, be sure to checkout EasyBeats Pro Drum Machine.
Pros and cons of Melody app for iPhone and iPad
Melody app good for
For a free app it is very well polished. Its a fun and addictive app for any music entusiast
A nice app, a bit confusing at the beginning, but once you realize how it works, it is a fun app for when you just want to play around with a Melody! Its free, why not?
This is pritty impresive for a free app, still room for improvement tho
Some bad moments
This app is okay for music but its a bit confusing. I wouldnt buy but try it since its free!!
Cool idea, but I cant figure out how to get it to play anything other than a pentatonic scale.....apparently not a tool for actual musicians?
This app is a copy of easyBeats (which is an awesome app). Pointless, dont bother. You have to unlock save/load features with an in-app purchase.
Im a very musically inclined individual, so this app wasnt that good for me. and I had two major problems with this app. First, the only melodies that can be created have to fit in selected notes of the scale given. Its impossible to make melodies with a minor sound-- even when using the 6th as the starting note. Second there are no note durations. You cant have any Melody that has a note longer than a 16th. Its great for rhythms and messing around, but its not very applicable. For the average person who doesnt know much about music, this app will treat you fine. But anyone whos taken even a little theory will get bored pretty fast.
Website offers NO way to get support: metronome not working. Pattern mode shows ONLY 1st pattern even while 2,3, and 4 play.
